What is a pledge?

A pledge is a commitment to make a donation at a future date. It allows you to promise your support today and fulfill your gift at a time that works for you.

We deeply value the trust we share with our donors. When you make a pledge, we know we can count on you to honor that commitment.

How is a pledge different from a donation?

A donation is paid when it is made. A pledge records your commitment to give, but no payment is collected until you fulfill it. Your gift is considered complete—and eligible for a charitable-gift receipt—when payment is received.

How do I make a pledge?

Complete our pledge form and tell us:

• The amount you would like to give
• When you plan to fulfill your pledge
• Any additional information about your gift

What happens when my pledge is due?

We trust our donors to make good on their commitments. As a courtesy, we will send you a friendly reminder when your selected due date approaches. Unless otherwise stated, pledges are due May 31, with the campaign ending June 30. You can fulfill your pledge by making a donation online, using your DAF, stock, or sending a check.
