Executive Director

Meet our executive director Whitney Woolf

Whitney brings to the executive director position more than 25 years of fundraising, education and business marketing experience. Whitney has been a significant contributor to the Foundation for five plus years, both as a member of the staff and as a volunteer member of the board of directors, including serving as the annual campaign co-chair. She’s been instrumental in shifting the operations and focus of the Foundation and developing the endowment campaign.

Whitney has extensive experience serving in the LOSD community. She was parent club president of Lake Grove Elementary and Lake Oswego Junior High. Whitney also worked on the Lake Grove front office team for two years.

Prior to sharing her talents with LOSD, Whitney worked as a product manager for HP, leading worldwide marketing efforts for consumer products. She also served in marketing roles at InFocus as well as high-tech startups in the Portland area. Prior to her career in marketing, she lived in Tokyo, Japan for three years and taught conversational English to employees of Fortune 100 companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Merrill Lynch, AT&T and NHK.

Whitney is a Certified Education Foundation Leader and holds a BA from California State University, Chico. 

Whitney lives in Lake Oswego with her Lakeridge alum husband, David, and three kids who all attended LOSD schools from Pre-k through graduation.
