LOSD Budget Shortfall for the 2025-26 School Year

LOSD is facing a budget shortfall and we encourage you to take action. The Lake Oswego Schools Foundation is the only fundraising organization that goes to teaching positions. If every family gave gave $500, we could save about 20 more teaching positions. All donations go directly to teaching positions and are 100% tax deductible. Lake Oswego School District (LOSD) is a high-performing K-12 comprehensive public school district that fosters a culture of belonging and educational excellence. For decades, LOSD has been consistently rated as the best school district in Oregon and among the top in the United States.

Learning Community: The LOSD community comprises approximately 6,800 students and their families, supported by around 850 educators and staff members across 11 schools:
