Are you interested in contributing to a dynamic volunteer organization dedicated to ensuring more teachers in our district?
Please consider applying for the Lake Oswego Schools Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation is seeking parents/guardians, students, and community residents to serve on its Board of Directors. Board members must demonstrate a commitment to the Foundation, the School District, and the Lake Oswego community.
The term for new board members will begin July 2025 and board members serve a two-year term and serve up to three terms. Please click HERE to access the online application form.
The application provides more information about your role and expectations. Interested people should submit applications by Monday, March 10, 2025. The Nominating Committee will review applications and conduct interviews in the spring. We want to thank all of these individuals who are volunteering their time to serve on the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
The Lake Oswego Schools Foundation Board is comprised of representatives from each Lake Oswego school as well as members of the community. Board members serve two-year terms, up to three terms. Board members participate in monthly board meetings, serve on a committee and attend Foundation events, as well as make personally meaningful financial contributions to the Foundation.
We begin recruitment for new board members at the start of the calendar year. Once we receive your application, we will contact you around March to schedule an interview with the nominating committee. Interested parties are encouraged to apply, please contact Whitney Woolf with any questions.
